Greenview Hosts 4th Grade Parent Orientation
orientation

On Monday, April 16th, Greenview hosted an orientation meeting for incoming 4th grade parents from Rowland, Sunview and Adrian Elementary Schools.  The evening event was well attended and was designed to help parents prepare for their child’s transition to Greenview in the fall of 2018. During the presentation, Principal Kelly Murphy provided parents with information about the typical school day at Greenview and expectations for their child during the fourth grade.  Parents were also given the opportunity to ask questions and tour the entire Greenview campus.  As part of a related effort to help students prepare for the transition to a new building, Greenview 4th Grade Counselor Mr. David Rash has begun meeting with 3rd grade students at all three elementary schools.  In May 2018, incoming 4th graders from each elementary school will take a field trip to Greenview to meet teachers and staff, as well as participate in additional orientation-related activities.  The Greenview staff looks forward to working with all incoming 4th grade students and their families next school year!
