Greenview NEHS Members Begin Fundraiser Planning

Led by staff advisors Apryl Buchanan and Kathy Everson, 5th and 6th grade students from the Greenview chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society recently discussed ideas for community service projects to participate in during the school year. Students also began preparations for a fundraiser on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society which began this week.

The National Elementary Honor Society is a great privilege to be a part of. To be a member, students must sign a contract stating that they will meet the necessary requirements the NEHS upholds. Those guidelines include, obtaining 20 hours of community service, attending at least 60% of group meetings, following all school rules and regulations, as well as maintaining a 3.25 GPA each quarter. Stay tuned for future updates on the National Elementary Honor Society at Greenview.
