Conscious Discipline Ambassadors Proudly Representing Greenview
cd

Promoting student leadership opportunities is a key part of the SEL Schools experience.  At Greenview Upper Elementary, 6th graders Janon Webb, Jordynn Woolfolk, Tamia Smith, Daniela Rosales, Lyric Davis and Sid Dauok have the privilege of serving as Conscious Discipline Ambassadors to their building and the SEL Schools community.  Conscious Discipline is a building-wide social-emotional learning and classroom management program which features the motto “Connection Before Correction” as a core principle.  Most recently, the ambassadors hosted elected officials from the City of South Euclid and shared about various aspects of the program, including Brain Breaks, Wishing Well, Morning Greetings and PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) assemblies which seek to model, teach and reinforce positive student behaviors and character traits.  The Conscious Discipline Ambassadors serve as strong role models for fellow students and visit classrooms throughout the school year to promote the Words of the Month, such as composure and empathy, as well as other important Conscious Discipline principles.  The SEL Schools congratulate the Greenview Conscious Discipline Ambassadors for proudly representing their school and the District!
