Gatorball Featured at Greenview’s December PBIS Assembly

In the week’s leading up to Winter Break, Greenview students learned how to play a new and exciting game called Gatorball. Invented in the state of Florida, Gatorball combines the rules and skills of various sports including soccer, basketball and touch football.  Skills include soccer dribbling and kicking, basketball passing and touch football running.  Gatorball was the feature activity at the December PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) Assembly during the week before the start of Winter Break, as both students and staff took some time to play together and have fun. Students earned their way to participate in the assembly by accumulating Classroom Dojo points as well as earning tickets through donating food items to the Greenview Food Drive.  The entire school had a blast and looks forward to playing more Gatorball in the New Year!
