Brush Junior Launches Lip Gloss Company

Brush High School is the proud home of a young entrepreneur, as junior Santasia Turner recently launched a lip gloss company, Glitty Cosmetics, with the help of her friends and business partners, Cleveland Heights High School freshmen Logan Wallace and Nia Farrow. The three friends found inspiration after an expensive trip to the mall caused their parents to jokingly suggest that they should launch their own lip-gloss company. After performing market research and developing a business plan, the three students visited a manufacturing warehouse in New York City, securing it as a supplier for their various lip gloss colors and finishes. The young entrepreneurs handle branding and marketing for their online business and hope to offer full-scale cosmetics, skincare and fragrance brands in the future.  The upstart business has already received media attention, as all three girls were interviewed by Cleveland 19 News anchor Romona Robinson on Thursday, November 1st, and were spotlighted by the local Heights Observer publication.  Glitty Cosmetics was also recently featured at a public launch party at Marcus Thomas, a noteworthy advertising firm in Beachwood on Saturday, December 8th.  The SEL Schools are extremely proud of Santasia and wish her continued success in her future endeavors!
