With the fall season in full swing, sixth-grade students at Greenview Upper Elementary recently participated in a series of pumpkin-themed math lessons. The hands-on learning activities took place in the cafeteria and required students to work as a team to practice math concepts such as estimating using real pumpkins! Students also incorporated vocabulary related to circles by measuring the circumference, diameter and radius of the pumpkins and recording their findings. Thank-you to our 6th grade team at Greenview for providing our students a fun way to perform hands-on learning!
