It is time for the 2018/19 National PTA Reflections Arts Competition! The theme for this year is “Heroes Around Me”. Work should be created with this theme in mind. There are six entry categories - (dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts, plus a special artist division for students with disabilities). Deadline for entries is November 9th. The opening reception will take place at 6:30 p.m. on December 4th, in the Brush High School Library. Participation in the Reflections Program is a great way for students to explore and learn about various art forms. Creating art is a valuable learning process that challenges students to use their critical thinking skills as well as their creative talents to create art that supports a specific theme.
