Rowland Elementary formally recognized students who have demonstrated classroom achievement, leadership skills and positive behavior at its monthly Friday Family Celebration in the school gym on March 1, 2019. The regular gathering is a time for staff and students to gather together as a school family to celebrate student successes and play a fun game. Principal Maleeka Bussey and Assistant Principal Lee Fuller awarded certificates to members of the MAC Ambassadors for their participation in the African-American Read-in event, as well as to those students who were selected by their teacher as a Student of the Month recipient. Following the award ceremony, the entire school had a blast cheering on students and staff as they played a fun game of Family Feud! Congratulations to all Rowland students who were recognized for demonstrating ‘Arc Pride’ in the classroom!
