Adrian Students Bring History to Life
wax

2nd graders at Adrian Elementary School had the opportunity to portray a famous U.S. historical figure of their choice as part of a living wax museum project on Thursday, May 16, 2019.  From famous athletes such as Jackie Robinson and Muhammed Ali to Muppets creator Jim Henson, the students displayed an impressive sense of creativity and attention to detail, using various costumes and props to portray their selected historical figure. Parents, grandparents and family members attended the “living wax museum” and had the opportunity to hear each student deliver a verbal presentation about their historical figure’s life and accomplishments.  Each student also created and displayed a tri-fold presentation board which featured pictures along with important and interesting facts about their selected person.  Congratulations to the 2nd graders at Adrian Elementary for their terrific work!
