The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools participated in the 2017 Father’s Walk on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in conjunction with the Healthy Fathering Collaborative of Greater Cleveland. Each year in the district, fathers and other male mentors are encouraged to accompany their children on their way into school for that given day, to highlight the importance of the role they play in their students’ lives. Even more, the Father’s Walk is designed to promote male role models remain involved with their students’ educational lives the entire school year. On this day in the SEL Schools, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, stepfathers and foster fathers all stepped up to support their children by accompanying them to school. Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year’s 2017 Father’s Walk.
