Brush Students Participate in Interactive Legal Presentation

Freshmen and sophomore Social Studies classes at Brush High School were recently provided with an eye opening and informative look at the juvenile criminal justice system. On Thursday, January 23rd, students attended a special presentation by Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Judge, Denise N. Rini, and attorney, Mrs. Ranke. Both presenters were invited to speak about how constitutional law and juvenile crime issues can affect students’ lives. During the presentation, Judge Rini and Mrs. Ranke detailed various examples of crimes which students can commit without knowledge of the legal consequences. The topic proved to be very engaging, as many of the students participated in an interactive dialogue with the speakers regarding the legal issues presented.

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools wish to thank Judge Denise N. Rini and Mrs. Ranke for educating our students on important real life issues.
