The Brush HS Dance Team, the Arcettes, delivered an award winning performance at the Champion Cheer Central-Eastlake North High School Cheer and Dance Competition on Sunday, February 2nd. The Arcettes earned First Place in the Hip Hop Category and Third Place in the Pom Category, competing against other talented area high school dance teams, including their strongest opponent, Madison High School. In addition to the above awards, the Arcettes also received a bid to compete at the Nationals Competition, which will take place in March at the new Cleveland Convention Center.

In the meantime, the Arcettes have several other important and exciting performances scheduled during the month of February. On Wednesday February 19th, the Arcettes will perform at Memorial Middle School in an effort to recruit future rookie members. The dance team’s talent and ‘Arc Pride’ will be on full display on Friday, February 21st, when the Arcettes take the floor to perform at halftime of the Varsity Boys Basketball game. Finally, on Sunday, February 23rd, the Arcettes will compete in the Chardon Cheer and Dance Competition, with the opportunity to earn a bid to the U.S. Finals to be held in April, in Erie, PA.

Congratulations to the Brush Arcettes Dance Team and coach Kelly Parish for their award winning performance!
