The FLIGHT Mentoring Program enjoyed a field trip to the Metro Park Toboggan Chutes as a fast start to their winter vacations. FLIGHT students work with their mentor teachers either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday every week from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Time spent allows them to get help with homework, test preparation, note-taking or finishing papers or projects. FLIGHT students can also take advantage of enrichment opportunities like STEM Lessons based on the Brush High School garden and greenhouse or learn computer coding languages on-line. Tobogganing was a chance to relax, have fun, and reflect on the hard work accomplished after school.
