FEEL THE POWER of Arc Pride During Homecoming Weekend Activities
FEEL THE POWER of Arc Pride During Homecoming Weekend ActivitiesThe South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools is gearing up for a fun and activity-filled weekend, as the entire student body prepares to “Feel the Power of Arc Pride” of Homecoming Weekend!  Kicking off the festivities is the time-honored Homecoming Assembly on Thursday, October 17, 2013, in Welser Gym at Brush High School. There, the Homecoming Court will be announced, setting the stage for the remainder of the weekend.

Another pride-building activity is the annual Homecoming Parade, which kicks off at 5:30 PM on Friday evening.  The parade route will follow Mayfield Road from Marc’s in South Euclid to Dorsh Road, then Dorsh Road to Farnhurst Road until its conclusion at Korb Field. Come see the Brush High School Marching Band under the direction of Mrs. Kaylee Flynt, the members of the Homecoming Court and the various class floats.  In addition, the parade will have the Euclid Beach rocket car.  A special note of thanks is offered to the Beachwood Infiniti Dealership, who has donated use of convertibles for the event, as well as the Police Departments of both the City of South Euclid and the City of Lyndhurst.

Friday evening also features the Homecoming football game between our very own Brush Arcs and the Invaders of Normandy. Get there early, as the Top 25 will be announced just before the big game.  Kick-off is at 7 p.m. It promises to be an exciting game, as the Arcs are now 2-0 in conference play and are in the quest for a three peat of a conference championship and a playoff berth. The first 500 fans will receive either a gold Arcs t-shirt featuring the new logo or a gold rally towel with the "Feel the Power" logo. Don't miss this event! Purchase your tickets now online at Tickettracker. Advance tickets are only $6 for adults and $4 for students.

Homecoming weekend concludes on Saturday with the Homecoming Dance from 7 – 11 PM at Brush High School. In all, the SEL Schools cherishes its Homecoming Weekend festivities, some of which date back more than forty years. Please show your support for Arc Pride this weekend!
