On Friday, February 22, 2013, Rowland Elementary students presented its second Rowland Showcase, an all-school concert featuring grades K-3. Three hundred and sixty-seven Rowland students from all grades participated in this event. Kindergarten students shared music that demonstrated concepts covered and skills built in Music class. First, second, and third graders presented a musical revue entitled Make It Healthy. This production followed students through a school day as they learned the importance of making healthy choices regarding nutrition, exercise, rest, and tooth health. Hundreds of Rowland families and friends filled the Brush Performing Arts Center to support the students and the Showcase. We are proud of Rowland students and look forward to next year's performances!
