This past Monday, Rowland Elementary School collectively recognized Veterans by creating a Veteran Recognition Wall. Students wrote the names of significant people in their lives who have served and sacrificed for our country. Rowland also recognized Mr. O’Brien, a Vietnam Veteran and Mr.Kijinski, who served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. O’Brien also took the time to speak to a second grade class about the importance of remembering and thanking those who have served our country.
