Brush High School Debate Team a Formidable Force at John Carroll University CompetitionThe Brush High School debate team captured top honors this past week at an overall competition of local high schools held at John Carroll University. The team, which has demonstrated formidable success over the last several years, is anchored by the stellar individual performances of Jaylin Cody and Chris Ladaika, who respectively went undefeated in the entire division. Other notable individual performances were given by Anna Mancino, Yehosef Brown and Jaylen Perkins, who all individually finished 3-1. Even more, four other Brush students were given special speaker award honors for their respective presentations, and they were Danyelle Dukes, James Lacey, D'Asia Hall and Rhya Hampton.

Congratulations to these Brush High School students, who collectively, have represented themselves and the SEL School District with dignity and class!
