Brush High School Students Send Their Support and Love to Sandy Hook Elementary School

Under the direction of Brush High School Art teacher, Mrs. Sarah Curry, the school’s Art Club recently developed a special banner with a message of support for the survivors of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy that took place last month. Students who participate in the organization, under the direction of Brush student Rachel Duber, created a caring message that stretches across the length of the banner, but also hand wrote individual notes of compassion and reassurance for the entire community. This week, the banner was mailed to the school, in support of students’ return to formal classes since the tragedy occurred.
