Brush High School Student Recently Honored by Better Business Bureau

Brandon McGhee, a junior at Brush High School, was recently awarded Honorable Mention in the Northeast Ohio Better Business Bureau’s Students of Integrity Awards competition, and will be honored among his peers in the region at a breakfast on December 6, 2012, at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Downtown Cleveland. The Students of Integrity is an essay-based competition that honors high school students from the BBB’s five county service area who personify ethics through leadership, community service and actions.  Recognizing that significant adults in a student’s life contribute to their formation of personal ethics and educational success, parents and selected teachers of the essay award winners are also honored. In a letter and certificate addressed to Brandon, he was credited for his “enormous level of achievement, extensive community service, and fervor for the quest to uncover [his] unique potential.” In addition to receiving this recognition, Brandon was awarded with a book entitled, “In My Father’s Country.”

Specifically, Brandon is described as an “excellent student and citizen of Brush,” by Mr. David Rash. “He has exhibited great leadership skills, effort, and integrity in his education. He should be very proud of himself in being recognized by the Better Business Bureau.” A special congratulations to Brush High junior, Brandon McGhee for this accomplishment.
