Korb Field Renovation Project Underway!
The next step to the overhaul of the athletic surface at Korb Field has recently gotten underway, as the old turf surface was stripped to make way for the new turf material that is slated to be installed this week. Crews systematically removed the old surface roll-by-roll, completing on Friday of just last week. The new surface will be going down beginning this week.
All of these steps are part of the Korb Field Renovation Project, a planned district endeavor to replace the old synthetic turf surface which had lasted the last 11 seasons at Brush High School. Crews were required to wait until all spring athletic events concluded, and once so, wasted little time beginning the removal process.
