SEL is excited to welcome several new teachers to our team this year. The HR Department facilitated a new teacher orientation during the week of August 19th. Presentations included introductions from the Central Office Directors and Staff and seminars hosted by SELTA President Deb Cassidy and lead mentors, Barb Kumin and Stacey Bram. Superintendent Reid kicked off the orientation with a town hall meeting type of presentation and discussion that was well received and appreciated by our new staff members. Special thanks go out to the HR staff, along with Mr. Needham (Nutritional Services), for their time, effort, and expertise.
At the culmination of the teacher orientation, several new staff went to the new Acacia Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. Pictured are:
