During the month of February, Memorial students traveled through Memorial's 'Journey to Reveal', as a salute to African Americans and their history. While on the journey, students hoped that as they revealed the past, they would inspire each other to look to the present in order to better their future. The students wanted to convey the message that if African Americans can understand where they have been, where they are now and where they are striving to go, then they can become what their ancestors struggled and died for.
The journey ended in February with a presentation of the past and present, and a challenge for the future!
