Brush High School Hosts Sixth Annual Dance for Students with Special Needs

Brush High School’s East Gym was filled with the sounds of music, laughter and conversation on Friday, February 21st, as it hosted an exclusive dance for over seventy students with special needs. The event, entering its sixth year, featured students from Brush and other area high schools. This year’s dance had a Winter Olympics theme that included flags, pictures of athletes and a replica of the Olympic torch. Students, with the help of their teachers and parents, planned and decorated for the dance. When taking a break from the dance floor, students enjoyed freshly popped popcorn, cookies and punch.

The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools wish to thank Brush Intervention Specialists Bob Guzik and Rachel Lilley-Langville, Food Services Director Kevin Needham, and all the other staff and volunteers who helped make this year’s dance a success!
