Congratulations to the eighth grade Memorial Lady Arcs basketball team, who recently won the red division championship this weekend.
On Saturday, February 8th the Memorial Lady Arcs faced the Stow Munroe Falls Lady Bulldogs for the red division championship. The Lady Arcs started fast and never looked back. Leading by as much as twelve points, Memorial held on for a 21-19 championship victory. Coached by first year coach, Jen Brozak, the Lady Arcs applied man to man pressure defense for all four quarters to get the win. The Lady Arcs were led by tournament MVP Peighton Taylor.
This year’s team had a 6-7 record and finished strong with a championship title.
