On Saturday, March 1, 2014, the Purple Heart Homes, the City of South Euclid and One South Euclid held a MISSION COMPLETE CEREMONY at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Keynote speakers for this event included General Charles Swannek, Rtd. Former Commander of the 82nd Airborne in Iraq and 2013 CNN HERO Finalist and co-founder Dale Beatty.  Brief comments were also given by Navy Cross Medal recipient and Hero, Sam Felton and local resident, Rtd.
