Greenview STEP UP Students Compete in President's Competition

Some Greenview STEP UP fourth graders left a huge impression on the city as they competed in the President’s Competition at the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County.

The fourth grade team consisting of Isaac Alexander (Team Captain), Matthew Kendig, Andrew Schlegel, and Antoine Chamoun finished second overall with Matthew Kendig and Antoine Chamoun taking first and third place respectively.

The South Euclid Lyndhurst students are some of the brightest students in the area and they continue to show their erudition in competitions throughout the city.

The President’s Competition is held every four years to celebrate the presidential inauguration. The students were given a packet of information and were expected to research and learn about each president: a daunting task! They were amazing as they out performed five other school districts.

Team captain Isaac Alexander trained and prepared his team like a lawyer preparing for a big law case. He motivated and kept after his classmates to do their best and they did not disappoint. If you see these students please congratulate them!
