Brush Arcs Girls Swim Team Wins First Conference Championship Since 1980
Brush Arcs Girls Swim Team Wins First Conference Championship Since 1980The Brush Arcs Girls Swim Team, led by coach Brett Spicer, has earned its first swimming championship since 1980. This team of young women swam an undefeated dual meet season and won the Lake Division Championship of the NOC. After a grueling winter break training period, the Lady Arc Swimmers arrived at the NOC conference meet at Cleveland State University ready to compete for a championship. Led by a group of experienced juniors and seniors, the Lady Arcs took to the water and performed at their peak. Winning the NOC Conference Championship accounts for 50% of the overall title. Leaving CSU Lake Division winners meant only half of their work was done, knowing they had two challenging dual meets remaining. After defeating Valley Forge at home and then Parma Senior on Brush's senior night, the Lady Arcs claimed sole possession of the championship. This championship is being used by the ladies as motivation as they enter their last few weeks of training in preparation for Sectionals, Districts, and State. Congrats on an undefeated dual meet season as well as NOC Lake Division Champions.
