Brush National Honor Society honored the memory of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victim, Anne Marie Murphy, by sponsoring a pizza sale. Mrs. Murphy was a special education teacher who died while shielding her student from gunfire. Her family asked that donations be made to the world's leading autism advocacy and research organization, Autism Speaks. Thanks to the support of staff and students, NHS will be able to donate $300 to Autism Speaks to honor Mrs. Murphy and her selfless actions.
