Brush High School Students Earn Medals and Qualify for Nationals

Several Brush High School students who have chosen to pursue career readiness skills through Excel TECC have earned a number of high honors at the recently 2016 Skills USA Competition and in the process, have qualified for the national tournament. Earning a gold medal for performances demonstrated in the Construction Trades Career Pathway Showcase was Ma’Liah Cunningham. As a result, Ma’Liah also qualifies for the National Competition which will be held in the near future. In addition, earning a bronze medal in the IT Computer Programming pathway category was Brittany Mack and Gage Hanks, who delivered competitive performances. These three Brush High School students are part of the single largest team that EXCEL TECC has ever taken to the statewide competition. Congratulations to our Brush High School shining stars.
