Veteran’s Day was celebrated in a unique and very heart-felt way at Sunview Elementary School last week. Mrs. Angela Bell’s kindergarten class utilized the room’s technology and skyped her son, Airman Andre Bell, who serves in the United States Air Force and who is stationed in Germany. During the brief interview, Mrs. Bell’s kindergarten students asked Airman Bell a variety of interesting personal and military questions. Some of those included his favorite meal and snacks, games and even how to say “Good Morning” in German. At the end of the interview, the entire class thanked Airman Bell for his service, and for keeping our country safe. Congratulations Mrs. Bell, on having a son so dedicated to serve the United States of America and for creatively utilizing classroom technology to connect with him in honor of Veteran’s Day.
