Brush Seniors Recognized at 2016 National Signing Day Ceremony

 

On Wednesday, February 3rd, Brush High School recognized five student-athletes who will be furthering their education and athletic careers next school year. The National Signing Day ceremony was held in the Brush Performing Arts Center. With family members joining them onstage, each of the following Brush seniors formally signed a letter of intent to play a collegiate sport at their respective college or university:

Jordan Overton           University of Buffalo           Football

Jonathan Ayala           Walsh University                  Football

Ameer Jackson            Garden City CC (KS)           Football

In addition, the ceremony also recognized 2014 graduates Alfonso Onunwor (University of Idaho) and Jordan Bonner (University of Kentucky), who recently completed the past two years at junior colleges and have now begun to further their academic and athletic pursuits at their respective schools.

Brush Athletic Director Mike Murphy and Head Football Coach Jeff Fink provided remarks during the ceremony, which was attended by family members, coaches, students and district staff. The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools would like to congratulate all of the students recognized at the 2016 National Signing Day Ceremony and wish them continued success!
