Brush Boys High School Basketball Team, led by Coach Chet Mason, recently participated in a basketball program at Julie Billiart School, through the Empower Sports team to help students with special needs. Coach Mason and the Boys Varsity Basketball team shared their passion for their sport, while helping youngsters stretch, shoot free throws and engage in fun basketball-specific drills. Brush High School joins a number of other nearby school districts by sending their respective basketball teams to the Julie Billiart School to help students play in volunteer games, with a special focus of integrating functioning peers and building friendships. This is just another way that student-based organizations at the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools are helping to build bridges throughout the entire community.
