Memorial Students Attend Anatomy Camp at CWRU
Memorial ALPHA and STEP UP students recently had the opportunity to experience hands on anatomy by way of anatomy camp at Case Western Reserve University.
At Anatomy Camp, students experience learning in a fun, relaxed environment with instructors and pre -med students who are passionate about teaching anatomy. The 45 students at the sessions were divided into small groups. At the beginning of the afternoon, each group received a central question from a medical student and was challenged to answer it at session's end using information gained from interactive anatomy lessons. These lessons included the rare opportunity to examine human organs!
The opportunity exceeded expectations and continues to demonstrate how the SEL schools educate, inspire and empower students to be high achieving contributing members of a global society by, offering
superb experiences for its diverse learners.
