Brush High School Students Will Perform in the OMEA Honors Ensemble
More exciting events are happening for South Euclid Lyndhurst’s Brush High School! Each year the Music Department nominates ten of its top students to participate in the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District 4/7 Honors Band and Choir. The students that are involved in this honorable event are made up of the top high school musicians in Northeast Ohio. This year, all ten of the Brush High School students that were nominated were accepted to participate in this grand occasion! Brush students Tyler Bracewell, Dorian Davis, Julia Kiefer, Cory Nelson, Grace Pierce, Xavier Gibson, Mikayla Graham, Demetrius Jofferion, Sarah Messina, and Velarian Vaughn will take part in this OMEA event, as well as have the chance to work with top directors Cynthia Turner Johnston of the Cleveland State University Bulldog Band, Dr. Birch Browning of the Viking Band, and conductor Scott MacPherson of the Honor Choir. This FREE concert will be held at Cleveland State University’s Waetjen Auditorium on Saturday, November 12th at 4:00 PM. Please come support our Brush students in what will be a stunning performance that exemplifies the highest level of musical skills. You will not want to miss this opportunity!
