Students are encouraged to turn in their permission slips no later than Wednesday, September 24, 2014 for the first-ever Greenview Upper Elementary tailgate party on Thursday, October 2, 2014, from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. in the drop-off/pick-up parking lot. This tailgate party, which hopes to become an annual event, comes in advance of the Brush Arcs home football game against visiting Garfield Heights City Schools. Teachers and staff will serve up burgers, hotdogs, potato chips and drinks. Contests will take place for punting, passing and kicking, along with a number of other contests. Cost for students is free with one paid adult to the Brush Football Game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. at Korb Field. The staff at Greenview encourages you to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on for the tailgate party. Please turn in your permission slips to your homeroom teacher, once again, by Wednesday, September 24, 2014.
