Brush Boy’s Basketball Conference Champs!

  The team matched the best regular season in school history with an outstanding 17-3 record, including a 9-1 record in league play.  At the start of the year, the team put together a 9 game winning streak and concluded the regular season with another 8 game winning streak that is still alive as they head into postseason play.  There were many highlights along the way!  The team opened the year with an exciting road victory at Benedictine 66-65.  Later in December, the boys won the Brush Holiday Tournament by defeating Willoughby South in the championship game 80-59!  Congratulations were given to Jameel Moore for making the All Tournament Team and Curtis Oakley for being named MVP.   The team knocked off reigning conference championStowtwice including atStowon a last second tip in by Jamison Days!  It represented the school and community quite well in the Dunk 4 Diabetes Shootout when it soundly defeated VASJ 79-66 on a game aired live on SportstimeOhio.  Seniors Pharaoh Brown and Curtis Oakley moved into the school record books as Curtis moved into 3rd place on the all time scoring list and Pharaoh finished the regular season 2nd on the all time rebounding list!  In addition to the varisity's success the Junior Varsity team, coached by Dave Ferrando also finished with a 17-3 record.
