Adrian 2010 Fundraiser Set for Oct. 23
On Saturday, October 23, 2010 Adrian Elementary will be walking to raise funds for our school. We are hoping that this walk-a-thon will supply all of our fundraising needs for the entire school year. At the walkathon, our students will walk noncompetitively around a 1.1 mile paved trail at the Euclid Creek Reservation. Parents and family are welcome to walk with the children. Even though, we feel like our pets are a part of our families, due to liability reasons, pets are not allowed.
We would like all students to obtain pledges from family, friends, colleagues, and the community for the event. We are promoting exercise, fitness, and above all...Fun! All proceeds and donations will benefit major school initiatives and help maintain educational programs sponsored by the PTA. These include grade level field trips, science fair, family fun nights, educational assemblies, third grade promotion activities, and classroom parties 3 times a year as well as many other programs and events.
Please encourage your child to participate and obtain sponsors for the event because your participation in this event is extremely important and greatly appreciated. More information will soon follow.
