Congratulations to Chelsea Elder, a Junior at Brush High School who has been accepted to attend the Interlochen Center For The Arts for the 2010-11 school year. Acceptance into Interlochen is the high school equivalent of being accepted into Julliard and Chelsea has been awarded a $35,000 scholarship because of her performance level. This experience serves students as preparation for auditions at the nation's most prestigious music conservatories. Interlochen accepts only a few hundred students from across the nation. Chelsea was a student of Aaron Hunt, who is a professional percussionist who taught SE-L percussionists over the past three years. Great job Chelsea!
