On Monday, December 12th, Vice President Carmen Atchinson served at her last Board Meeting. The Board recognized Carmen Atchinson for her many years of service to our school, as she will be finishing out her term as a school board member in December.
Mrs. Atchinson is a Speech Language Pathologist at Chambers Elementary School in the East Cleveland School District. She received her Bachelors and Masters degree from Kent State University, and has done advanced academic work at University of Central Florida. She has also held similar positions in Cleveland Heights/University Heights School District and in Brevard County School District in Florida.
Mrs. Atchinson has lived in South Euclid since 1995. She has been a dedicated member of the Lowden PTA serving as PTA Vice President and has served on several committees, including the Citizens Advisory Council and the District Strategic Planning Committee. She and her husband Kenneth have two children, one who graduated from Brush High School and one who is currently attending Brush High School.
