Stefanie Rhine was elected for a second consecutive year to serve as Board President and Cassandra Jones was elected as Board Vice President on Tuesday night. 

Mrs. Rhine was just earlier in the evening sworn into office as a Board Member for her second four-year term. Rhine is employed as a manager of Business Continuity, at a local information technology company. 

“I see my role on the school board as that of being an advocate, not an administrator. We are there to be a sounding board for the administration, community, parents and students,” Rhine said.  

Rhine and her husband, Dan, have four children who attend the SE-L schools. She earned a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and a master’s in public administration from The Ohio State University.

“I believe that our kids get a solid education. I have enjoyed the last four years and feel as though this current board has a lot to offer and is passionate about change.”

Mrs. Jones has been a South Euclid resident for six years with her husband James and three sons who attend Rowland, Greenview and Brush. She is currently a member of, or has previously been a member of PTA Council, Sunview PTA, Southlyn PTA, Rowland PTA, & Greenview's PTA. While currently completing her Political Science Degree at Cleveland State University she possesses an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and aims to attend Law School as well. She works as a Bailiff in Cleveland Heights Municipal Court.
