Rowland Holds Fundraiser for Victims in Japan
Rowland Elementary will hold a fundraiser for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Now through April 29, students can purchase a photo of a pie for $1. Then, they can put that “pie” into a teacher's jar of their choice. When a teacher's jar has 25 “pies,” that teacher will get a whipped cream pie in his/her face at an assembly on May 6. Students can purchase their pies every Friday during all lunch periods until April 29th. We will have the assembly on May 6th. All money raised will be donated to the Red Cross.
