The Ohio General Assembly
passage of Senate Bill 230 in 1996 authorized the establishment
of Local Professional Development Committees
in each school district. This statewide system of LPDCs was
enacted to directly connect the professional growth of educators
to the renewal of their professional license in an effort to
ensure both the ongoing growth of educators and the continuous
improvement of schools.
The LPDC has established
several informative links to assist you in the renewal of
your professional license. The "Handbook" link provides
guidelines that will lead you through the renewal process and
should prove an invaluable source of information. The "Forms"
link provides the required documents for the renewal process.
Following are instructions for completing the forms:
Select one of
the following options to submit forms to LPDC:
1. Complete
form(s) by typing responses. Save, then email as an
attachment to Susan Cantanzriti (cantanzriti@sel.k12.oh.us)
OR
2. Print
out form(s) and complete by hand. Make a copy for yourself,
then send it through district mail to Susan Cantanzriti at the
Administration Building.
Should you
need further assistance, please contact any member of the LPDC
Committee.
