Mollie Barnes

Mollie is the intervention specialist for our intensive needs preschool program. Mollie has been working for SEL for over 20 years in the field of special education. She especially loves working with preschool students. Mollie has a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, with a specialty in early childhood. Mollie also has been trained in Applied Behavior Anaylsis and TEACCH. When not at work, Mollie enjoys spending time with family and friends. 


Theresa Harlacz
Theresa Harlacz joined the SEL preschool team as an Intervention Specialist in August 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree in child and Family Studies from Ohio University and her master’s degree in special education from Notre Dame College. Prior to working as an Intervention Specialist, Theresa worked as an Early Head Start home visitor at the George Forbes Early Learning Center in East Cleveland. Theresa is a former swim coach for Brush High School and still loves to swim and teach lessons. Outside of work, she enjoys doing yoga, reading, being outside, and spending time with her nieces.

Shannon Moughan
With over 13 years’ experience working with young children, Shannon has dual licenses in PreK-3 and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist PreK-3, and a Master Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Kent State University. Before coming to South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District, Shannon worked for the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities as an Early Childhood Behavior Specialist. Prior to working with young children, she trained urban youth to be peer mentors, was the Director of Education at the Domestic Violence Center and a stay at home mom to 3 children. Shannon believes that play is the best way for young children to learn

Stacie Roseman

Stacie is a proud K-12 graduate of South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools.  As the itinerant intervention specialist for our preschool program, she works with students in either their homes or community preschools in order to meet their individual needs. Stacie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University and her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri St. Louis.  She has been a preschool intervention specialist since 2011. Outside of teaching, Stacie loves snuggling with her dog, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with family and friends.    


Melanie Wright
Melanie Wright joined the SEL preschool team as an Intervention Specialist in January 2023. She received her bachelor’s degree in music from Earlham College, her master’s degree in music education from Case Western Reserve University, and her Intervention Specialist License from Lake Erie College. Before joining the SEL preschool team, Melanie taught K-5 general music and band in Painesville, Ohio. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys backpacking, kayaking, and cooking.


Olivia Zidek
Olivia Zidek joined the SEL Preschool as an Intervention Specialist in August of 2022. With over six years of experience working with young children, Olivia has dual licenses in PreK-3 and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist PreK-3. Olivia obtained a Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Early Childhood from Bowling Green State University. Before her teaching position with South Euclid Lyndhurst School District, Olivia worked as a before-school and infant/ toddler care provider, teacher’s aide, and mentor for first-generation college students. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Jessica Brand
Jessica Brand joined the preschool team in August of 2022 with over 10 years of working as an experiential outdoor educator. She has worked with children of all ages. Currently in school to earn her Special Education license, Jessica enjoys helping all students reach their full potential. Outside of school and work, she enjoys time with family, hiking, cooking, and gardening.

Elaine Mates   
Elaine Mates has 19 years of experience working in the SEL Preschool. Prior to this, she was the parent of a special needs child in our preschool. She loves our students and is so proud of them as they grow and accomplish goals! She is a vegan and welcomes her home to pets who need rescued. She loves to cook, bake and garden.    
 
Patti Karn

LeeAnsley Sandridge
LeeAnsley Sandridge joined the SEL preschool team as an Intervention Specialist Assistant in October of 2022. She has been working with children for over 25 years. She enjoys watching them learn through play. She believes the greatest development is achieved during the first years of life, and therefore it is then that the greatest care should be taken. She also enjoys traveling, golfing, horseback riding and soccer.

Carli Simonian
Carli Simonian has over eleven years of experience working with children and adults with special needs. She has a Bachelor’s degree in special education which she earned from Cleveland State University in 2012. Her hobbies are spending time with her kids and when she has free time she likes to go to her family cabin in Andover.

Alyssa Hillard
Alyssa Hilliard joined the preschool team in 2001 as an Occupational Therapist. She has 26 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, graduating from Chatham University in 1997 with a master's in occupational therapy. Prior to working with SEL Schools, Alyssa worked as a hospital-based therapist in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Summa Healthcare. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and fitness.

Anna Kunofsky
Anna Kunofsky joined the SEL Preschool as a Speech-Language Pathologist in December of 2022 with over 15 years of experience in providing speech-language intervention to children of all ages. Anna received her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and graduate degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). With extensive experience in servicing children with a wide range of abilities, Anna feels tremendous satisfaction in enabling each child to communicate in the best way he/she can and helping children achieve their maximum potential. Outside of school, Anna prioritizes taking care of her family and loves to take walks, read, and bake.

Elizabeth Parnin - Speech/Language Pathologist
Elizabeth Parnin is the speech-language pathologist for the SEL Preschool. She began working for the district in 2004 and has been working in the preschool since 2007. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in speech pathology and audiology from Marquette University, and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Cleveland State University. She is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology and is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Elizabeth enjoys collaborating with preschool team members to facilitate language development in the classrooms, as well as helping children become more independent and active communicators. She has two children of her own and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Sarah Sebor  - Physical Therapist
As the Physical Therapist for the district, Sarah works with students from preschool age through high school. Sarah has been working in the district and preschool for the past five years.  Sarah attended The Ohio State University earning her Bachelor degree in Health and Wellness. While earning her Bachelor degree at OSU,  Sarah was also a member of The Ohio State University Women's Varsity Swim Team. After graduating from OSU, Sarah went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University located in New Hampshire. Sarah also enjoys coaching swimming in the evenings/weekends.  
Denise Weinberg - School Psychologist
Denise Weinberg is the School Psychologist for the South Euclid Lyndhurst Preschool. She has been with the SEL school district since 2006 and has held the position in the SEL Preschool since 2012. She also served as the School Psychologist for Rowland Elementary School from 2014- 2023. Prior to that, Denise served as the School Psychologist at Greenview Upper Elementary School, Lowden Elementary School, and Ridgebury Elementary School. Denise has a master’s degree in education and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. She has over twenty-five years of experience in early childhood education. Five of those years were spent at the Positive Education Program (PEP) in which she worked with students ages 3-5 with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties. Denise’s role includes evaluating and identifying students with disabilities, consulting with preschool staff and parents, assisting with behavioral interventions and facilitating the transition in and out of preschool for students with disabilities and peer models.
