The Ohio Department of Health has issued an order that requires K-12 schools to report and notify parents/guardians and local health departments when students, teachers, staff, member or coaches test positive for COVID-19. The order also states that parents and guardians are encouraged to report positive cases to schools.
In compliance with this order, the District will notify appropriate families and staff by email when a staff member, classmate, teammate and/or bus rider (if applicable) tests positive for COVID-19.
The Ohio Department of Health has established a Call Center, staffed by licensed nurses and infectious disease experts to answer questions regarding coronavirus every day, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Call 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).
