Memorial Student Boxer Ranked Number 2 in US

Memorial Student Boxer Ranked Number 2 in US

Quincy Harris is on his way to "floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee".   The Memorial student recently placed 2nd overall nationally in his division in the Junior Olympics Boxing tournaments held in Salt Lake City.  He has been training since he was five years old and started competing at 10.  In the past few years he has worked his way through the Amateur Boxing Rankings to be ranked Number 2 in the US for his age and weight class.  He is the 3x Silver Glove State Champion, 2x Junior Olympic State Champion, Ringside World Champion and the 2x Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival Champion.  Hard work and determination during his training sessions at the 65th Street Gym account for Qunicy's success.   We congratulate Quincy on his achievements thusfar and are looking forward to following him on his journey.
