Dear Memorial Junior High Families:

Welcome to Memorial! I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to work with such exceptional staff and students, and look forward to continuing the excellence that has been established at Memorial Junior High School.

To provide you with a little bit of information regarding my educational background, I am originally from upstate New York. I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina when I took my first teaching position as a high school civics and economics teacher for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. As a teacher, I completed my National Board Certification for Adolescent Social Studies before I began my transition to school administration.

Upon relocating to Ohio, I was a part of the Aspiring Principals Cohort for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I then transitioned to the Maple Heights City School District where I served as a principal of their 4-5 building for 3 years. During that time, I participated and completed the First Ring Leadership Academy. Before coming to Memorial, I served as principal in the Streetsboro City School District at Defer Intermediate School for two years. Additionally, I recently completed my superintendent's licensure from Ashland University.

My wife, Erin, is a 5th grade teacher for the Kenston Local School District. We have two sons: Landon, 7 and Dylan 5. For those who have young children, you certainly know how busy and active they can be!

As we progress towards the school year, I look forward to continuing the positive relationships that have been built at Memorial Junior High School and pushing our students to academic success. Please be on the lookout in the near future regarding additional communication as well opportunities for us to connect on social media platforms.

Please stay safe and well during these times!

Go Arcs!
