Brush Alumnus Josh Laurienzo’s Research Featured in Science Magazine

Josh (Joseph) Laurienzo, a celebrated alumnus of Charles F. Brush High School, recently had portions of his research work included in an article published in the April 2nd edition of Science Magazine. Josh is currently a senior at Case Western Reserve University.

Brush and Chardon Football Players Share Important Conversation

Earlier this week, members of the Brush and Chardon High School varsity football teams met together for an important conversation on race, diversity, and character at Brush High School. The conversation also featured remarks by guest speaker and notable Brush alum Roy Hall. Brush will host Chardon at Korb Field on Friday, October 2nd at 7:00 pm.

Class of 2020 Commencement Livestreamed Tonight!

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools encourages everyone in the community to watch the livestreamed Commencement Ceremony for the Charles F. Brush Class of 2020 tonight, Tuesday, May 26th at 6 p.m. Use the attached link to watch the proceedings. State Report Card Discussion

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools Board of Education will host a Special Meeting on Tuesday, September 24 th at 6:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Administration Building for the purpose of discussing the results of the State Report Card. Community members who are interested in learning more about the metrics associated with the State Report Card and how the District performed should plan to attend. More specifically, the discussion will include an overview summary of the different components of the State Report Card, what it does and does not measure and the specific metrics used for results.

SEL Appreciation Day - Another Success!

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools, in partnership with Legacy Village, hosted its 3rd annual SEL Appreciation Day this past Saturday, September 14, 2019. SEL students of all ages had the opportunity to share in activities and perform for the community with all funds raised going towards various student organizations. Among the various performances were the resounding melodies of the Brush High School Marching Band, the talented dancers of the Arcettes and Cheerleaders and the rhythmic beats of the Jazz Band. Now in its 3rd year, SEL Appreciation Day has become a staple event for community members to see firsthand the skills of our students and the organizations in which they meaningfully participate.
