The SEL Schools formally recognized the Brush High School Class of 2023 at the Commencement Ceremony held in the Welser Gym on Tuesday, May 30th.

The SEL Schools proudly congratulate bus driver Jeremiah Spikes for his award-winning performance at the recent Ohio School Bus Driver Safety ROAD-E-O competition. As a first-year bus driver, Jeremiah finished an impressive 8^th place at the event, and was named Rookie of the Year!

First graders in Miss Annie Beck’s classroom at Sunview explored STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) concepts through hands-on, interactive activities at Snapology of Cleveland for their spring field trip. 

The Regular Board Meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

Students at Sunview Elementary are learning about different garden plants through a unique, hands-on experience using a Lettuce Grow Vertical Hydroponic System purchased with a grant by the Sunview PTA.

We are accepting applications for typical peer models to be a part of our 2023-2024 preschool program. Children must be residents of the SEL school district and be at least 3 years old. Congratulations to the Charles F. Brush High School Orchestra, who recently participated in the annual State Orchestra Adjudicated event which took place at Lakewood High School, and who earned an overall SUPERIOR Rating (1) for the team’s efforts.

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools recently launched a new initiative, called the BE PRESENT campaign last fall, as an effort to promote on-time, daily school attendance and in response to a national trend of chronic absenteeism among students.
