Thanks everyone for your patience! It is not too late to encourage your students to participate in this program. The theme is "I Matter Because.." Attached is information to share with students. Projects are officially due Friday but will be accepted through Monday December 7th.

Calling on all students to get creative and enter the National PTA’s Reflections Art Competition! This year's theme is "Look Within". The competition is open to artists, writers, photographers, videographers, choreographers, and composers. Get your rules and entry form from your school or print here. Deadline for entries is November 15th .

What is Reflections? The Ohio PTA, through the National PTA, holds am annual cultural arts program, Reflections. Children in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to create and submit original works of art in any of six areas: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. The Reflections program allows PTAs throughout the state to recognize children for their creativity as they reflect on the yearly theme. Teachers, parents, children and community can get involved in enhancing arts education through the Reflections program. The Reflections program is one of the best examples of the PTA’s ability to bring out the best in our youth. PTA strongly supports education in the arts. It is about creating educational excitement and involvement within our schools between parents, teachers and our kids. Looking to get a jump on necessary holiday shopping? How does a $1,200 Legacy Village Gift Card sound? Stop in the office at any of the schools, stop by the Board of Education building, or contact one of your PTA or Booster Presidents. Tickets are $5 per ticket, or a book of 6 tickets for $25. The drawing will be held in the gazebo at SEL Appreciation Day at Legacy Village, at 4 PM on Saturday, September 15. Other prizes include an $800 Legacy Village Gift card as well as several $125 cards. All proceeds support student activities and programs.
