Brush Excel TECC Students Support Food Bank

ohio

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools would like to recognize Brush High School students John Drury III, Delbert Longino II, Matt Kendig and Sean Pierce whose marketing project for their EXCEL TECC Experience is going above and beyond to helping others in need. These SEL Students collaborated with other area students by participating in the EXCEL TECC Marketing program called Hope Blooms Ohio intended to inspire hope and uplift our local and global communities through a pop art installation featuring five 20-30’ inflatable flowers. The name of each flower represents the mission of Hope Blooms Ohio: Unity, Love, Health, Blossom, Inspire, and Joy. Hope Blooms Ohio is a visually exciting and unexpected display that encourages visitors to walk through the inflatable garden. In doing so, these students hope to raise $40,000 to go towards the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to help those in our community in need. Congratulations to these students for their creativity, leadership and generosity in transforming a school project into a valuable effort that supports our community.
